What happens after you make an Offer

What happens after you place an offer, how sellers accept, when your payment is held and charged, what happens if it expires, and the notifications you'll get.

Once your offer is live, sellers with matching tickets can accept it. Here's the flow.

The steps

  1. Your offer is live. Sellers who have tickets matching your price and criteria can see and accept it.

  2. A seller accepts. We place a hold on your payment method for the total. You're not charged yet.

  3. The seller confirms. Your payment is charged and the tickets are prepared for delivery.

  4. Delivered. You receive your tickets by the delivery method for that listing.

If your offer isn't accepted

  • It expires. If no seller matches your offer before your expiration time, the offer simply expires and you're not charged. You can make a new one.

  • A hold placed when a seller accepts is released if the order isn't confirmed.

You'll be notified

We'll let you know when your offer is accepted, when your order is confirmed, and when your tickets are on the way.

Can I change an offer?

Yes. Use the Sent Offers page of My Account to view existing offers, change offer prices and cancel offers.
