Refunds, cancellations, and the Buyer Guarantee

All sales on Got Seats are final. What that means, the Got Seats Buyer Guarantee, what to do if you can't attend, denied-entry claims, and refunds for cancelled events.

All sales are final

When you confirm a purchase, the sale is final. Got Seats does not offer cancellations, returns, exchanges, or "buyer's remorse" refunds, and you can't change or cancel an order once the sale is confirmed.

This keeps the marketplace fair: just as a seller can't back out when prices rise, a buyer can't return tickets when prices fall. Full details are in the Terms of Use.

If you can't attend anymore

If your plans change, you can re-list your tickets for sale on Got Seats so another buyer can purchase them (subject to listing restrictions).

The Got Seats Buyer Guarantee

Every order is backed by the Got Seats Buyer Guarantee:

  • Your tickets will be valid for entry to the event.

  • Your tickets will be delivered in time for the event.

  • Your tickets will be the same as, or comparable to, what you ordered.

  • If the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, you'll receive a full refund or credit.

To be covered, you must follow the Terms of Use. The guarantee does not cover mistaken purchases, lineup or schedule changes, deciding not to attend, being denied entry for behavior or age, failing to follow venue health and safety policies, or personal costs like travel and hotels.

If you're denied entry

If you have trouble getting into the event, contact [email protected] right away. If you're denied entry through no fault of your own, get written proof from the venue and send it to us with a description of what happened. We'll investigate and, if confirmed, refund the cost of your tickets and fees.

A note on chargebacks

If something's wrong with your order, contact support first. We'll work with you to make it right under these Terms. Please don't file a chargeback on a legitimate charge.
